The Odgepodge Art Gallery is an Artist Cooperative Gallery. It was founded in 2007 by Odge Gribble, a long time resident and Cheerleader for Sherwood. The goal of the gallery is to provide a space for local artists to show their work and to promote the Arts within Sherwood. Odgepodge is located in ‘old town’ Sherwood so named by local residents. It is a small community that has been around since the 1800’s and for many years was a main stop on the railroad. In fact, the Gallery is located on Railroad Ave and backs up to Memorial Park. We only see a few trains these days, but the charm and history of Old town Sherwood remains with the Odgepodge Art Gallery, several Antique shops, Sherwood Coffee Company and the Lavender Tea House.

Beginning in spring the Sherwood farmers market opens and when that happens, it signals the beginning of the Sherwood Art Walk. Odgepodge invites artists to set up all over Old Town to display their craft and their latest works. Both the Artwalk and the Farmers market run from 9am to 1pm. The Art walk is a relaxed affair with some artists coming later and others stay all day you just never know as the summer rolls along, who you will meet and what you will see.

We invite you to visit Sherwood, grab a coffee at the Coffee company, a sandwich from the café or lunch at Clancys, stroll through town and pick up some wonderful scones from the Lavender tea house. Visit the Museum , enjoy Memorial park and stop into the Odgepodge Gallery to enjoy wonderful Art and during the summer sit in the Gallery garden and enjoy the weather.
